05.19 – New for the Weekend
Here’s how we do it:
at the beginning of the week our lead horticulturist walks all the shade houses and open growing pads on the farm and puts together an order of plants that look good and are ready to bring out to the Retail Nursery. The order is then turned into the office and all the color tags are printed. By the middle of the week the order is picked up and taken out to the Retail ‘staging area’ where all the plants are prepped and tagged, then moved out onto the tables/display areas for sale. That’s all there is to it! Then, the following week we do it all over again and so on throughout the Season. We’ve always got something new blooming until late Fall.
